Hey, guys! I'm sorry I've been MIA for the past few weeks. As you guys know, I just finished Maxim's Finest Competition ( Placed 4th in International group twenty-two). But, that doesn't mean I forgot about my blog! I'm finally back here to share about this Fenty Beauty by Rihanna! It is so hype right now, even after a month since Rihanna released her makeup line. Her foundation shade range is incredible because she released 40 shades (yes! you heard that right.) of every skin tone. I'm still thinking to buy it or not, because it's not available yet here in Indonesia, so I still have to figure out which shade will match with my skin tone.

 In the mean time, I got this beautiful Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter from imisscosmetics, and let's see if this highlight worth the hype?

First Impression:

Simply love it! It's so cool, modern and trendy, the package is beautiful. It's just a bit hard when I tried to open the highlighter case, but the rest is totally cool.

I tried the Mean Money shade first, it's a soft champagne sheen, just like the color description (for subtle dayglow) it's soft and barely seen on my skin. Still a pretty color tho, probably I'll use it for natural makeup or everyday look. The second highlighter is Hu$tla Baby (Hustla Baby), it's a supercharged peachy champagne shimmer color, and I must say I LOVE it, oh my God, it's glowing so beautifully on my skin, just Wow!

Texture & Application:

 It's a cream-powder formula, so it's light but it will blend perfectly to skin (almost zero effort to blend). I also wear it all day long (about 8 hours) and it's still glowing nicely on my skin, just a bit blurry, so it is good for longwear makeup.

Final Opinion:

Pros:

• Perfect glow especially the hu$tla baby
• Beautiful shades
• Beautiful design
• Pretty and travel friendly package
• Weightless cream powder formula

Cons:

• I don't know if it's only me, but it's a bit hard to open the case

Conclusion:

Is this worth the hype? YES! I really recommend this to everyone who loves highlight, strobing, it's perfect! I'm so glad I chose this color, it matches my skin perfectly. I feel like there's a yellow undertones on this highlighters duo so it blends really well on asian skin like me. You can get this on imisscosmetics, great online shop, good service, very friendly :).

Actually, I'm not planning to write this, but I got a lot of DM replies on my Instagram Stories asking me and commented about my outfit. Well, believe it or not, it all started from I got "nothing to wear".

It's really frustrating when you got a special occasion this week and you've got nothing to wear. We've all been on this situation, right? It's impossible to have new clothes for each day unless you're a superstar. Well, that's exactly what happened to me a few days ago. I had a special event that I have to attend to and have no clues what to wear. I do have some extra back up clothes just in case there's a special event. But, my backup clothes is a long dress, for formal event (because recently I keep getting formal invitations). Meanwhile, my invitation is a brunch event, which means it's a bit casual. 

So, here's some of my tips (at least what I did on this situation):

1. Browse your favorite style inspiration
I quickly browse, browse and browse my fave style inspiration and finally got some ideas in mind (all you need is to find something that inspire you, and voila!)

2. Mix and Match
Classic advice but always works. After you find an item that you're going to wear, you just have to pair it with this top or that bottom. 

3. Borrow your boyfriend's shirt 
I used to do that a lot lol, like borrow his shirt and wear it as an outer, as you can see here ;)

4. Wear your existing clothes in a different way
Different here, not only with mixing and matching your clothes, but your accessories and hairstyle as well. You can go extreme or in subtle way, you choose. I used to wear this top twice, the first one when I pair this top with a lace skort, the second one when I got bangs so it's slightly different and I also style it with accessories. 

5. Monochrome
When in doubt, just wear monochrome color, it always works for me! Especially if you have LBD (little black dress), it's a life hack on a situation like this.

6. Save Instagram Outfit Ideas
Thank God, today we have Instagram and all you have to do is tap the save button when you found something inspiring you, or screenshot also works! In the future, you can be more prepare for so no more "nothing to wear" situation.

Whether you're going to a special events, or just casual hang out with your friends, you must be bring some makeup in your bag. For me, I always bring my essentials, just in case for touch up after long day activities. Actually, I've talked about this in my talk show few months ago, but I haven't discussed this in details. 

Well here it is, my 5 must have beauty items in my bag:

1. Foundation /  BB Cushion

I never go without this essential, it really helps to keep my skin smooth and even all day long. I always choose the one with SPF to protect my skin from any damage outside.

2. Lipstick

The first makeup I tried when I was a teenager, and will always become makeup essential in my bag. Right now, matte finish is my favorite.

3. Mascara

Unless you have eyelash extensions, mascara is a must have items in your bag. It add drama to your lashes and makes your eyes pop instantly.

4. Eyeliner

I used to wear Tony Moly Backstage gel eyeliner in black, but right now I love to wear Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel for the eye liner.

5. Contour Kit

I love contouring so much. As an asian girl, I always want more dimension on my face and contour kit is a must have item to sculpting the shape of my face.

Of course if you're going to a party, not all of these will fit in your small clutch. For a party, I usually only bring a lipstick for the essential. I believe each of us have different makeup essentials, let me know what's your must-have beauty products?

Bloggers. What's on people's mind when they first heard that word? Some people will like, "Wow, that's so cool!" Some people will just," What does that even mean?" "What you really do?" "You got paid?" "Is that even a real job?" "You must be having fun all the time." Yup, that's some of people's thoughts when I explain what I do. Yes, most of the time I was having fun. Yes, I got paid, but I always give my honest opinion, and I will not recommend something I personally don't like. I'm not a type of person who will receive every single thing that offered to me. And yes, it's a real work.

Look, First of all, I'm not here to say that I'm an expert blogger or what, I just want to share something that I experienced from the last 3 years of being a blogger, that everything is not always looks fun and glamour as it looks like. Every profession has their good and bad side, and I think you guys seen enough of the good side, right? Well, here's the dark side of blogger's life from my point of view:

1. Seniority
Believe it or not, I was a victim of these kind of thing in blogger's world (when I thought it ended in high school). Even though, we started together as bloggers, I was treated bad. Like I was some kind of junior and it's like high school all over again. I was so naive that I thought everyone was nice. I will not tell you guys the details, because I don't want to embarrass anyone. 

2. Mean Girls
3 out of 10 events I attend there's always what we called a mean girl. Mostly, at the events you mingle and made a lot of new friends, but if you're on your bad day you meet that mean girl. Someone who's trying to bring others down or shaming others because she thought it make herself look cool . It's so sad because we girls, instead of empowering each other, try to tear each other, just because we want to stand out and wanting more attention. Not only from real events, it also happens on social media a lot. For example, some bloggers love to insult others who have different style. I really don't understand why, because I think DIVERSITY IS BEAUTIFUL. You don't have to be the same and if you're different, you don't have to insult others that is different than you. We should empower each other, let's stop tearing each other down. If you know Hailee Steinfeld's song, Most Girls, the lyrics explains these situation a lot,

Some girls like to keep their physique real private

Some girls wear jeans so tight 'cause it feels so right, yeah

Some girls, every day searching, keep the page turning

3. Bullying and Haters

It's so common here and thanks to the people who support me, I could handle all of these things. The bullies that you see are not only from comments, but also from direct messages. You're expected to be perfect all the time, so on the day when your body isn't good enough, you got body shaming a lot. Sometimes you also got hate for only God knows why is the reasons.

4. Plagiarism
Look, I know, as a blogger, how writing can be rough when you don't have any inspiration. But, you don't have to copy your own friend. I'm not saying I never take source from other website, but when I do, I give them credits. What's so funny is when you copy your own friend who's brainstorming all day to find an inspiration. There I said it. At least, give some credits. This unwritten rules also applies to pictures. It's fine if you took my picture, at least give some credits where it came from.

5. Inspiration
As I said before, I know sometimes it's hard when our inspiration just vanish into thin air. When that happens, what I do is give it some time, give it some space. Don't force to write something or even copy someone just because you're afraid that you won't post anything in the mean time. For me, quality is over quantity. If you don't have anything to write or to share, then don't post. 

Whatever happens from the dark side of my blogger's life, I still LOVE blogging so much. I just hope some people will stop spreading negativity and hatred, stop copying others hard work and other bad stuff. Of course not everyone probably experienced these kind of things, this is just from my experience. And I'm so grateful I still have a lot of fellow bloggers with sincere heart, who support each other, who can be happy with others success and never consider themselves better than anyone else. You know who you are, my dears ;)

Okay, I hope this will give you, guys, a new perspective or reality of my life as a blogger. I will always try to keep everything REAL, that's why there's a pillow talk section on my blog. Of course, once again there's a lot of good side as a blogger, I think you've seen enough of those side on my blog and my social media, guess I spammed that a lot :)

Hi, everyone! So, today I'm going to share a little fashion post from the last weekend. Mostly this style is feminine and all of these outfit is by Victoria Catwalk. The first one is a white dress with off-shoulder style with a cute ribbons on both sleeves. I love this dress so much, it's easy to style with anything and it's great for any special occasion. I style this dress with a corset belt to accentuate my waist and accessorize it with a simple bracelet. For the shoes I chose black heels to finish the look.

The second one is a mini ruffle dress. It's a bit too short for me and it's kinda windy that day, that I decided to sat in for this shot. This white dress has a cute ribbon on the collar which going to make you feel so girly wearing it. I paired it with a gold bracelet and white heels for this look. I think this is a perfect dress if you want to go on a date night, day out, or party.

Last but not least, you probably already seen it in my previous post at Grand Palace Hotel Bali. It's a simple yet classy look.I rarely wear this kind of outfit, and so glad I chose this. This is a perfect look for meeting, casual day, going to church, etc.
