Hey, guys! I'm sorry I've been MIA for the past few weeks. As you guys know, I just finished Maxim's Finest Competition ( Placed 4th in International group twenty-two). But, that doesn't mean I forgot about my blog! I'm finally back here to share about this Fenty Beauty by Rihanna! It is so hype right now, even after a month since Rihanna released her makeup line. Her foundation shade range is incredible because she released 40 shades (yes! you heard that right.) of every skin tone. I'm still thinking to buy it or not, because it's not available yet here in Indonesia, so I still have to figure out which shade will match with my skin tone.

 In the mean time, I got this beautiful Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter from imisscosmetics, and let's see if this highlight worth the hype?

First Impression:

Simply love it! It's so cool, modern and trendy, the package is beautiful. It's just a bit hard when I tried to open the highlighter case, but the rest is totally cool.

I tried the Mean Money shade first, it's a soft champagne sheen, just like the color description (for subtle dayglow) it's soft and barely seen on my skin. Still a pretty color tho, probably I'll use it for natural makeup or everyday look. The second highlighter is Hu$tla Baby (Hustla Baby), it's a supercharged peachy champagne shimmer color, and I must say I LOVE it, oh my God, it's glowing so beautifully on my skin, just Wow!

Texture & Application:

 It's a cream-powder formula, so it's light but it will blend perfectly to skin (almost zero effort to blend). I also wear it all day long (about 8 hours) and it's still glowing nicely on my skin, just a bit blurry, so it is good for longwear makeup.

Final Opinion:

Pros:

• Perfect glow especially the hu$tla baby
• Beautiful shades
• Beautiful design
• Pretty and travel friendly package
• Weightless cream powder formula

Cons:

• I don't know if it's only me, but it's a bit hard to open the case

Conclusion:

Is this worth the hype? YES! I really recommend this to everyone who loves highlight, strobing, it's perfect! I'm so glad I chose this color, it matches my skin perfectly. I feel like there's a yellow undertones on this highlighters duo so it blends really well on asian skin like me. You can get this on imisscosmetics, great online shop, good service, very friendly :).

Whether you're going to a special events, or just casual hang out with your friends, you must be bring some makeup in your bag. For me, I always bring my essentials, just in case for touch up after long day activities. Actually, I've talked about this in my talk show few months ago, but I haven't discussed this in details. 

Well here it is, my 5 must have beauty items in my bag:

1. Foundation /  BB Cushion

I never go without this essential, it really helps to keep my skin smooth and even all day long. I always choose the one with SPF to protect my skin from any damage outside.

2. Lipstick

The first makeup I tried when I was a teenager, and will always become makeup essential in my bag. Right now, matte finish is my favorite.

3. Mascara

Unless you have eyelash extensions, mascara is a must have items in your bag. It add drama to your lashes and makes your eyes pop instantly.

4. Eyeliner

I used to wear Tony Moly Backstage gel eyeliner in black, but right now I love to wear Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel for the eye liner.

5. Contour Kit

I love contouring so much. As an asian girl, I always want more dimension on my face and contour kit is a must have item to sculpting the shape of my face.

Of course if you're going to a party, not all of these will fit in your small clutch. For a party, I usually only bring a lipstick for the essential. I believe each of us have different makeup essentials, let me know what's your must-have beauty products?

Hi, my lovely readers! Today I'm going to review KKW x KYLIE Cosmetics in Kimmie shade. So, there's the story behind this. I was looking for a new lipstick in soft shade. Then, I saw on Kim and Kylie's instagram about their new collaboration which is KKW x KYLIE, and I was like, Wow! I love nude colours, but I'm not going to buy them all, because I already have similar colors, I'm just interested with this Kimmie shade. And, coincidentally, my friends and also my sister want to buy this too, so I thought, why not? Let's buy this together! So, mine is only the Kimmie shade, which is the darkest shade from all of the nudes.

First Impression:

As usual, Kylie always maintain her product quality, especially this one which is a special collection with her sister and also her role model, Kim Kardashian. I absolutely love the package, it's beautiful, flawless and look so girly too.

Colour: 

At first, the color feel so light on my lips, which is something that always happens to me. My natural lip color is so pale, that's why I chose Kimmie shade. Because every lipstick will always looks lighter on my skin. But, after one hour it's blended really well with my skin, so it goes from orange-salmon-apricot color to rosy-pink color. Again, it's on my skin tone, everyone might have different results.

Texture & Application:

 It is sooo creamy! Just like the name, it's creamy, you don't have to worry no more about dry lips! The formula contains ingredients to moisturize and hydrate your lips. But, don't expect matte result from this, because it's quite sheer and has medium coverage which is no problem to me, because I love all kind of lipstick, from matte, creme even gloss ;)

Final Opinion:

Pros:

• Cute and girly package
• Beautiful design
• Beautiful color
• Creamy and non drying
• Perfect brush
• The formula plump your lips

Cons:

• I have no cons actually, but just for reference, these colors might not work on everyone, my friend said it's too light on her.

Conclusion:

This creme liquid lipstick is beautiful, easy to apply, non-drying on your lips, for me I have nothing to complain, it's very comfortable on me. But, if you want matte result and more coverage, this probably does not suit you. I, personally love it very much.

The new shades have three tone category: Cool, Warm and Natural. There are total five different shades : C13, N21, W21, N23, W23 (you can see from the above picture). I used to wear the N21 shade (the old IOPE), but when I bought the new one, it's lighter and pinkish on my face. The N21 is different from the old one on my skin, I thought it's because I'm getting tanner recently, but I try my old N21 still blended well on my skin. So I did some research so I won't buy the wrong one again. Thank God, finally I found the right shade for me which is W21. 

Swatch:

 I know what you're thinking, you probably said on the swatch on my hand, the W21 is too dark. Here's the thing, this is just for reference, but if you want true match on your skin, it's best if you try/swatch on your face. So, you will get the right shade, the right shade will blend well with the color on your skin. I prefer W21, because it has more yellow tone than pink. 

The Formula

Because this is Moisture Lasting, it's definitely more dewy on my face, which is good for me who always in the indoor room with air conditioner. But, when you're on the outside with the heat, it will probably a bit oily (I live in tropical island). At the end, it depends on your skin type. My skin is a combination of oily-dry skin type. I think this finish works really well for me. 

Final Opinion

Pros:

• Great formula
• Natural coverage / result
• Fine pigments
• Natural dewy finish
• Smells nice (it's important!lol)
• Great honeycomb sponge
• SPF50+/ PA+++

Cons:

• Pricey
• Hard to find especially W21 shade, this one I got it from a friend who's on holiday in Korea

Conclusion:

IOPE once again, impressed me with their Air Cushion, I will definitely keep buying this, although the cushion price is 42,000 KRW. It still the best cushion for me, although I think if the case is bigger it will be perfect ^^
