2 Valentine's Day Makeup Looks + NYX Review

Hi, everyone! Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and I'm so excited to share this makeup looks to you, girls! Whether you single or in a relationship, you've got to admit it's always fun to get dolled up wherever you go.

Last week, Centro Dept Store just sent me NYX hampers, and inside the hampers, there are 3 makeup pouches and a lot of makeup in it! There are NYX Lingerie in Exotic, NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo, NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder and NYX Mosaic Powder Blush in Paradise. So, today I'm going to share these 2 Valentine's Day Makeup Looks with NYX (mostly). This is my first time blog about Valentine's look, I hope you guys like it, and let me know your thoughts.

Look #1 Edgy Romantic

For the first look, as you can see, it's a romantic/edgy style. It gives more focus on the eyes and the long lashes to gives a flirty look. For the hair, I just curls it with a medium curling iron and let it loose to give the sexy curls.

For the eyes, apply dark eye shadow into the crease to create soft smokey look, and light eye shadow to the inner corner and slightly below the brow bone to open your eyes and create the highlight. For both of the 2 looks, I'm wearing NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder for the brows and NYX Mosaic Powder Blush in Paradise for the cheeks.

Last step, line and fill in the lips with pink/nude lip liner. Finish it with warm tone lip color. Here I'm wearing NYX lingerie in Exotic which is warm mahogany red color.

Look #2 Classic Red Lip

For the second look, it's more classic and mature. Keep the focus on a red lip by making sure that the rest of your Valentine's makeup is neutral. Choose a good red matte lipstick so that it won't smudge during the date. Here I'm wearing NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo.

For the hair, I just let my straight hair natural loose, because I think the makeup is already bold enough.

So, that's how I do my makeup looks for Valentine's Day, nothing too crazy or over the top. The most important thing, of course, you have to be confidence, something that most men find really sexy ;)

NYX Review

NYX Lingerie in Exotic

I really love the warm mahogany red color, it's a great color to stand out. From the NYX Lingerie series, I must say this one is definitely my favorite. I suggest to use lip balm before, otherwise it will dry your lips.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo

For the formula, this soft matte lip cream, always be my favorite. I used to wrote about it here . This one also has creamy and smooth texture. The formula is more comfortable to wear than the NYX Lingerie series, but I prefer the color in NYX Lingerie.

NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder

I think this eyebrow cake powder is good for beginner or if you're more comfortable use powder than brow pencil. It's easy to use, but for the brushes, I prefer to use my own angle brush to apply the product.

NYX Mosaic Powder Blush in Paradise

This is absolutely my favorite from all of NYX products that were sent to me. I loveee the Mosaic Powder Blush, it really has pretty shades for my cheeks and it gives that natural glow, especially under the sun. Even, when I do photoshoot for my outfit, the blush on totally stands out.
